Description
In co-creation with the student, Amanda facilitates the design of daily, individualized student centered, YOGA practices that support regulation of the nervous system and optimal biomechanic function as integral elements toward empowered wellbeing. YOGA intervention tools that may be integrated into practice include somatic movement and breath work, lifestyle modifications and philosophy.
Amanda’s work as a YOGA THERAPIST supports autoimmune conditions, orthopedic musculo-skeletal issues, TBI related post-concusive disorders, brain degenerative diseases and women’s health issues.
All YOGA THERAPY classes are 75 minute, one-to-one sessions that can be conducted in person at the Breath Lab’s private studio or via Zoom. Students may access personalized daily practices by either printing an emailed, written pdf document or by listening to audio files or watching recorded video versions that are uploaded to private student account pages accessed through the JTSP website.
Process of Therapy
- Email to schedule a complimentary 15 minute Meet the Teacher Zoom.
- Complete the JTSP: Breath Lab Intake Packet ahead of your first scheduled class.
- Amanda will begin to design your Daily Practice and will present the practice to you in your first class. You will then meet with Amanda in intervals to further fine-tune and review the practice as necessary.
